EPISODE 3 • Bob vs. Bob

Vitals

• KLGT Air Date: February 8, 1998
• Guest Keyboardist: Butch the Prize Hauler
• Bowlers: Bob Glassman / 134 / Old Country Buffet certificate
Early Bob Pantsly / 132 / 6 lb. 12 oz. can of Chef Boy-Ar-Dee
VIEWER ALERT! Listen closely after Bob Pantsly throws his first ball of the game. Chopper inadvertantly calls Wally "Rich". There is a connection...Do you know what it is?
Wally, done in by exhaust from his car (He was installing headers on his Duster), decides to tell everyone in the Twin Cities that he finds himself in the buff whenever he is in his garage or cleaning his gutters:
WALLY: Do you think I'm sick?
CHOPPER: We'll let the audience decide on that!
WALLY (confident): I...I'm a normal person.
CHOPPER: Compared to what?

Bob Glassman is a superb bowler, picking up spares (WALLY: Spare, spare, spare) and hitting a decent number of strikes. Early Bob tends to do well only when Bob Glassman does not. Is there a universal paradox at play?

Our Halftime band, The Blue Up, has an interesting sound. They sang something incomprehensible, which is probably why it's Wally's favorite band. Oh, and Chopper assures us the members were dressed up for Halloween.

How does "Let's BOWL" salute Halloween? Well, amongst other things, Chopper and Wally like to scatter deck furniture around someone's backyard, steal someone's floodlamps, and stomp a pumpkin into pulp. Wally enjoys dumping his neighbors' recycling all over their front porches. Oh, and one more thing, be glad you didn't send your kids their way, or they'd have come home with a nice, big, sloppy helping of uncooked baked beans.
