The Show Icons_______________________Let's BOWL!

The Pig, now considered a "Let's BOWL" icon (aside from CORN DOGS), had a very interesting start.

The "Let's BOWL" Pig was born on March 21, 1998. We don't know the Pig's mother, but Chopper and Wally found the little piglet on the side of Hennepin County Road 30 in Corcoran. They felt sorry for the little guy, so they gave The Pig to Bernie to take care of. She did an admirable job, so they decided to put The Pig on the show. He really has no real job on the show, except comic relief (is that really needed?). However, The Pig has been credited on bringing in more kids. We think The Pig should have a companion...an Alley Cat. Bernie thinks it's a good idea. It would look like a cat who has spend most of it's life in a dust bin. We will have to wait until the show get's picked up nationally. By the way, Bernie will marry any guy with food.

Now on to Corn Dogs.

We still don't know why corn dogs have become another of the program icons. I asked Butch at the Let's BOWL Season Wrap Party why corn dogs made so many appearances. He doesn't know. Neither does Chopper. Wally wouldn't tell us and Bernie was busy eating one. Audrey was at the party, but wouldn't talk to us. To this point, we still don't know the background of the corn dog's existance on the show. If you've been keeping score, corn dogs have been dropped in the toilet twice, stored in Butch's tool belt three times, and The Pig has been seen eating one twice. The question remains: What's with the Corn Dogs?!
